About NEGS

The New England Guitar Society is established to create a nurturing environment for classical guitarists to meet, share ideas, perform, compose, teach and grow as musicians. Our goal is to increase the public interest in classical guitar, to ultimately create future players and audiences.

The Society invites guest artists to perform public concerts and hold master classes at the acoustically rich chamber concert hall of the Milford Fine Arts Council.

NEGS meets monthly on Sunday afternoons at 2 PM in the MFAC concert hall. Activities include informal solo performances, ensemble readings, member recitals and lively discussion about the classical guitar.

NEGS invites community classical guitarists to join us at our facility to perform pre-concert recitals and test out new works.
