Andrew Leonard, American Guitarist

Andrew Leonard has been called a "guitar phenomenon" by the Portland Phoenix (Maine). His playing has been referred to as "spirited and convincing" in Soundboard Magazine. Andrew's concert schedule takes him throughout the country, from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine and to Europe. As a young artist, at age 26, Andrew's D.C area debut performance at Strathmore Hall was sold out, months in advance. He spent the Millennium performing in Geneva, Switzerland.

In this NEGS season opener concert Andrew Leonard will perform works by Albéniz, Bach, Blanchard, Domeniconi, Llobet, York and more.

Armenian guitarist Gohar Vardanyan has performed throughout the United States for numerous guitar societies, universities, and arts organizations, including the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and guitar societies in Seattle, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, and New York City to name a few.

Carlos Pavan, Argentine Guitarist

Described with "Striking music and great originality" from world renowned "Classical Guitar Magazine" Carlos Pavan (born In Argentina and living in New York) is a new wave of modern classical guitar composers with a mix of tradition and influences, versatile and original he blends Tango/Folklore rhythms from his native country with New York jazz harmonies and classical technique/forms.
